Invitation

Dear Colleagues,

The Turkish Association for Psychopharmacology (TAP) 6th International Congress on Psychopharmacology & 2nd International Symposium on Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology
(6th ICP - 2nd ISCAP) will be held in Antalya between April 16 and 20, 2014. This year the theme of congress is: “From neuroscience to clinical practice: Tailoring treatments.” During five-day congress, local and international researchers and academicians will offer their perspectives and solutions to contemporary challenges faced by clinicians and review new developments in psychopharmacology, biological psychiatry, neuroscience, neuroimaging, and related fields. They will discuss cutting edge trends in a broad range of topics and take questions from participants and share their wisdom and ideas about treatment resistant cases.
In addition, we aim to contribute to the integrative approach in psychiatry by including presentations and discussions about non-pharmacological psychiatric treatments and their administration standards.
Like our previous congresses, eligible scientists from Turkey and globally known guest scientists will share the latest developments in the field through conferences, panels, pair/combined debates, and satellite symposiums in the 6th ICP - 2nd ISCAP, as well. Moreover expert meetings and certification courses will be organized for interested participants.
The abstracts of presentations sent out to 6th ICP - 2nd ISCAP will be published in the specific supplement issue of Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology, which is indexed in SCI-E. Besides, to continue the tradition coming from the previous congresses, the first three posters chosen by the jury will be awarded with the ‘TAP Outstanding Research Awards’ at the Poster Presentation Session.
Two scholarships named as ‘Young Researcher Scholarship of Turkish Association for Psychopharmacology’ and ‘Career Development Scholarship’ will be granted to two people chosen by the jury within the context of 6th ICP - 2nd ISCAP. Finally, the best 3 articles published in the volume 23 of Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology (The official journal of TAP) will be chosen by the jury and the authors of these articles will be provided with the ‘Bulletin of Clinical Psychopharmacology - TAP Outstanding Research Awards’ in the 6th ICP - 2nd ISCAP.
We wish all of you a fruitful congress and great joy and memories at world famous historical and natural beauties of Antalya. We hope to meet again in the 7th International Psychopharmacology Congress & 3rd International Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology Symposium,15-19 April, 2015, Antalya-Turkey.
